Field Medical Core Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in a territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC), coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; provide allowed information to HCPs and share customer viewpoints with Pfizer.
- Understand Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities to support Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Maintain communication/collaboration across headquarters Medical, Medical Information, and other Field Medical colleagues.
- Deliver medical expertise via live/virtual presentations, written communication, and telephone/virtual conversations.
- Optimize patient centricity using Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities
- Deliver approved medical content on Pfizer medicines and relevant therapeutic area topics.
- Identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Respond to unsolicited, direct HCP medical requests with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information in compliance with Pfizer guidelines.
- Field inbound HCP queries through established triage process.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs, Oncology R&D, and GPD to identify sites for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials (including under-represented populations).
- Provide Medical support for Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR).
- Cultivate research/TA expertise, including congress data and disease-state literature.
- Provide asset leadership; understand study design/methodology/data analysis/interpretation and communicate with customers.
- Communicate with Patient Advocacy Groups with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs; deliver insights on structure/capabilities/patient needs.
- Serve on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs with professional associations.
- Mentorship (onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor); participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications
- MD or DO required; 4+ years relevant experience.
- Recognized subject matter expert across internal/external stakeholders.
- Leadership and ability to influence/collaborate; excellent oral/written and interpersonal skills; constructively manage conflict.

Preferred Qualifications
- Malignant Hematology expertise; SOPs/rules/regulations knowledge.
- Previous Field Medical experience; self-starter/accountable; clinical/technical skills.

Additional Role Requirements
- Operate a Pfizer company car and travel 60–80% (including occasional weekends); remoteβ€”field based.
