The Oncology Field Medical Director, Malignant Hematology provides therapeutic area/product expertise across hematology and the pipeline for a broad range of medical customer segments and initiatives in an assigned territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington DC).

Field Medical Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within the territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic area/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide product/TA information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; respond to HCP requests as allowed and share customer viewpoints appropriately.
- Contribute to medical content strategy and execute aligned field tactics.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across headquarters Medical, Medical Information, and field colleagues.
- Deliver approved medical content via live/virtual presentations, written communication, and phone/virtual conversations.
- Optimize patient centricity using health literacy and cultural awareness principles.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver approved medical content; identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Provide truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information for unsolicited HCP requests in compliance with Pfizer guidance.
- Field inbound HCP queries via an established triage process.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs, Oncology R&D, and Global Product Development to identify clinical trial sites, including under-represented populations.
- Provide medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process.
- Cultivate expertise, including latest congress data and literature; provide asset leadership.
- Support study design/data interpretation discussions with customers.
- Lead territory activities; engage patient advocacy groups as appropriate; deliver insights to improve patient organization understanding.
- Serve on cross-functional committees; represent medical leadership with professional associations.
- Provide mentorship (onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor); participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications:
- MD or DO required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Recognized subject matter expert; demonstrated leadership breadth and ability to influence/collaborate.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills (handle multiple demands and conflicts constructively).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Malignant Hematology expertise/clinical experience.
- Familiarity with SOPs/rules/regulations for Pfizer/customer interactions.
- Previous Field Medical experience.
- Self-starter with urgency; accountable; strong clinical/technical skills.

Role Requirements / Skills:
- Ability to manage a significant volume of projects remotely with prioritization and sound judgment.
- Work in matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams; lead through change; adapt to new opportunities.
- Problem-solve/network enterprise-wide; rapidly adopt digital tools and record medical interactions.

Travel/Work Location:
- Remote - Field Based.
- Operate a company car and travel 60–80% (including occasional weekend work); maintain proximity to an airline hub city.
