Field Medical Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in territory (Southern California and Arizona), coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; provide allowed information to HCPs per Pfizer guidance and share customer viewpoints.
- Understand Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities; contribute to Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Communicate effectively across channels (live/virtual presentations, written, telephone/virtual).
- Optimize patient centricity using Health Literacy and cultural awareness.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines in the designated therapeutic area.
- Identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Respond to direct unsolicited medical requests from HCPs with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information in compliance with Pfizer policies.
- Lead advisory boards with manager oversight.
- Lead/coordinate site identification for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials with Global Medical Affairs, Oncology R&D, and GPD (including under-represented populations).
- Provide Medical support for Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR).
- Lead asset responsibilities; understand and communicate study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Engage patient advocacy groups and provide insights; serve on committees; represent Medical Affairs with professionalism.

Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in a health science.
- Highly preferred: PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal doctoral degree.
- Experience: PharmD/PhD (6 years), MBA/MSc (8 years), BA/BSc (10 years).
- Subject matter expert; strong oral/written and interpersonal skills; leadership, collaboration, change agility, and self-starter/accountability.

Preferred:
- Familiarity with SOPs/Rules/Regulations for Pfizer/customer interactions.
- Previous Field Medical experience.
