Role Summary

The Oncology Account Specialist, NSCLC and NMSC will engage specific NSCLC & NMSC oncology specialists and key oncology customers within a defined territory (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts). The role focuses on delivering clinically focused selling messages to build brand share, grow revenue, and achieve product goals, while complying with Regeneron policies and all US promotion regulations. The role requires collaboration with Reimbursement & Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers to address customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage Oncology Specialists (NSCLC and NMSC) and other key experts within assigned accounts to deliver clinical messages and introduce the launch of the NSCLC & NMSC brand, with goal of growing share and revenue.
  • Facilitate partnerships with multiple collaborators to proactively resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies aligned with brand and corporate objectives in the territory.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Execute market profiling to understand regional health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities within accounts and coordinate with the Regeneron Oncology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
  • Build a breadth of relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges, and identify Regeneron Oncology resources aligned to customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations governing customer interactions and maintaining consistent compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Required: Advanced clinically-based and account-based selling skills.
  • Required: Proven success in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Required: Results-oriented with a track record of product launch success.
  • Required: Strong account management, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Required: Three+ years of Oncology sales experience (NSCLC experience preferred); buy-and-bill experience with biologics; current account management experience with large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks; deep understanding of NSCLC & NMSC therapeutic area and current oncology marketplace.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications; three+ years working with NSCLC & NMSC thought leaders or high-influence customers in academic hospitals, group practices, or key institutions.
  • Required: Ability to travel and cover large geography territories; must live in the territory.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications considered a plus.
