Role Summary

Oncology Account Manager for Solid Tumor coverage of Philadelphia South and Delaware. The ideal candidate will reside in the Philadelphia area or Wilmington, DE. This field-based role focuses on driving sales, developing area business plans, and leveraging cross-functional partnerships to promote GSK therapies and improve patient access within a defined geographic area. You will work with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations to understand local dynamics and execute strategies that increase revenue from targeted customers.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving area sales results and ensuring open patient access to GSK therapies
  • Develop and execute area business plans
  • Identify and apply resources to the development of key prescribers/key account drivers within the area
  • Engage proactively with key customers and account groups to promote GSK therapies and the company image
  • Work cross-functionally to maximize brand availability and exposure within key accounts
  • Collaborate with the team and Regional Sales Director to ensure successful launch and ongoing promotion of branded products
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Director and cross-functional teams on programs and activities that increase access to customers

Qualifications

  • Required: 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
  • Required: 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, biologic/specialty sales experience and/or 3+ years of clinical oncology experience, oncology education, patient care skills, and direct physician interface
  • Required: Valid Driver’s License; must be able to drive or operate a vehicle
  • Required: Must live in geography; no relocation assistance

Additional Requirements

  • Travel within the assigned territory up to 30% (field-based role)
