Role Summary
Oncology/Hematology Account Manager to manage the sales and business activities within a defined geographical area. Key responsibilities include driving sales, leveraging customer relationships, and implementing business plans to increase revenue from targeted customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Operations to drive sales results and brand availability within the region.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for driving area sales results and ensuring open patient access to GSK therapies.
- Develop and execute area business plans.
- Identify and apply resources to the development of key prescribers/key account drivers within area.
- Engage proactively with key customers and account groups to promote GSK therapies and the company image.
- Work cross-functionally to maximize brand availability and exposure within key accounts.
- Collaborate with the team and Regional Sales Director to ensure successful launch and/or ongoing promotion of branded products.
- Engage with Regional Sales Director and cross-functional partners on programs and activities that increase access to customers.
Qualifications
- Required: 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
- Required: 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, biologic/specialty sales experience and/or 3+ years of clinical oncology experience, oncology education, patient care skills, and direct physician interface.
- Required: Valid Driverβs License; must be able to drive or operate a vehicle β driving is an essential function of this role.
- Required: Must live in geography; relocation not provided.
- Required: Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
Education
- 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution (as listed in Basic Qualifications).

- This role is field-based and requires regular travel within the assigned territory.
- Must reside in the geographic area; relocation assistance is not provided.
