Role Summary

Oncology/Hematology Account Manager to manage the sales and business activities within a defined geographical area. Key responsibilities include driving sales, leveraging customer relationships, and implementing business plans to increase revenue from targeted customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Operations to drive sales results and brand availability within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving area sales results and ensuring open patient access to GSK therapies.
  • Develop and execute area business plans.
  • Identify and apply resources to the development of key prescribers/key account drivers within area.
  • Engage proactively with key customers and account groups to promote GSK therapies and the company image.
  • Work cross-functionally to maximize brand availability and exposure within key accounts.
  • Collaborate with the team and Regional Sales Director to ensure successful launch and/or ongoing promotion of branded products.
  • Engage with Regional Sales Director and cross-functional partners on programs and activities that increase access to customers.

Qualifications

  • Required: 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
  • Required: 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, biologic/specialty sales experience and/or 3+ years of clinical oncology experience, oncology education, patient care skills, and direct physician interface.
  • Required: Valid Driver’s License; must be able to drive or operate a vehicle – driving is an essential function of this role.
  • Required: Must live in geography; relocation not provided.
  • Required: Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.

Education

  • 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution (as listed in Basic Qualifications).

Additional Requirements

  • This role is field-based and requires regular travel within the assigned territory.
  • Must reside in the geographic area; relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Valid driver’s license required; driving is an essential function of the role.
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
