Oncology Account Manager
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales goals and ensure high-quality customer interactions while navigating account dynamics that influence patient access.
- Execute account-based plans to educate HCPs, care teams, and decision makers at cancer centers on clinical benefits, safety profile, and appropriate patient selection.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and market access, using compliant communication to optimize product positioning and reimbursement strategies.
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing culture through self-development, accountability, integrity, and grit.
- Assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, and access barriers to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies governing activities.
- Represent the company at national and regional oncology congresses and industry events.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Technical Proficiencies:
- Proven track record launching products and driving sales growth in competitive oncology markets.
- Established relationships with medical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and cancer centers in the assigned region.
- Deep knowledge of geography-specific drivers (treatment pathways, local market dynamics, reimbursement landscape).
- Strong business acumen; ability to analyze data and develop strategic action plans.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial launch environment.
- Willingness to travel 50β75% within the territory.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Business, or related).
- 10 yearsβ industry sales experience; at least 5+ years in oncology sales (strong preference: gynecologic oncology/ovarian cancer or related subspecialties).
- Experience launching a new oncology product in a start-up or growth-stage pharmaceutical company.
Compensation:
- Pay range: $184,000 - $215,000 (final offer may vary based on factors such as location, knowledge, skills, experience, and education).
