Oncology Account Manager (OAM) β€” NYC territory (inclusive of 5 boroughs)

Essential Job Functions
- Achieve the assigned sales objective for the territory
- Attain designated goals for calls on appropriate healthcare professionals (HCPs) to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Kura’s FDA-approved products
- Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs and achieve goals
- Navigate complex external/customer organizational structures (hospitals, IDNs, GPOs, and healthcare communities) while aligning with cross-functional commercial partners
- Complete administrative requirements, including budget management, expense reports, CRM call reporting and synchronization, within timelines and company guidelines
- Use a deep understanding of HCPs and account needs to strategically promote and expand use of assigned products
- Operate within the assigned expense budget and demonstrate fiscal responsibility
- Comply with federal/state/local laws and regulations, including the PhRMA Code on interactions with HCPs, and comply with Kura standards and policies
- Complete and maintain training (product knowledge, disease state, market, selling skills, compliance)
- Identify and resolve issues and opportunities; communicate proactively to marketing and sales management

Job Specifications / Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required (ideally business/marketing/healthcare/life science)
- 6+ years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience; 3+ years in oncology/hematology and/or rare disease markets (preferably oral therapeutic selling)
- Management of large territories with periodic overnight travel
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends for conferences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills (WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT)

Compensation / Benefits (as stated)
- Base range: $210,000 to $230,000 per year; target incentive (IC) of 60k
