Role Summary

Oncology Account Manager - Mountain Territory (Denver, CO) will drive sales performance and develop key relationships with target physicians, HCPs, and other stakeholders within an assigned geography. The role involves presenting clinically focused messages to grow revenue and achieve product goals, conducting local market analysis, and ensuring pathways to care in local markets. The territory includes Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, with the ideal candidate located in the Denver Metro Area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales results by identifying key opportunities and developing strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business.
  • Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise and educate customers on company products in line with promotion requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with target physicians, HCPs, office/hospital staff, and others in the patient care continuum.
  • Proactively address customer needs, analyze market dynamics and trends, and develop local tactics to support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Analyze data to create and implement territory business action plans using approved sales tools to enhance relationships and drive sales.
  • Identify and build relationships with new targets based on referral patterns and patient migration.
  • Understand account-level decisions affecting product access and develop plans to ensure patient access (e.g., formulary placement, EMR inclusion).
  • Communicate and collaborate with field partners on issues impacting territory and national markets.
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and leadership with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., COE, KOLs).
  • Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities per company policies.
  • Maximize the territory budget to support strategy execution and business growth.
  • Understand coding, billing, and reimbursement concepts for HCP-administered products.
  • Operate in compliance with company policies, codes of conduct, ethics, governance, and applicable law; complete required training.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of demonstrated sales experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years demonstrated account/territory management experience.
  • Relevant Oncology or Rare Disease/Orphan Drug experience with HCP-administered products preferred.
  • Experience in product launches and launch strategy execution.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product information.
  • Proven track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, adhering to compliance guidelines.

Education

  • Candidates must live in close proximity to a major airport.
  • Valid driver's license; must be able to fly/drive to cover assigned geography.
  • Additional travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary.
