Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales results by identifying key opportunities and developing strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business.
- Deliver clinically focused messages to grow revenue and consistently achieve product goals related to the approved indication.
- Demonstrate marketplace/therapeutic/product/disease expertise; educate customers in compliance with drug promotion requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with target physicians, non-physician HCPs, office/hospital staff, and other stakeholders (including hospitals and cancer treatment centers).
- Conduct local market analysis/business planning (account profiling, influencer mapping) and create territory business action plans using approved sales tools.
- Identify and develop new targets based on referral patterns and patient migration.
- Understand account-level decisions impacting product access; plan for patient access (e.g., formulary placement, EMR inclusion).
- Coordinate with field partners and cross-functional teams; lead local promotional speaker programs.
- Maximize territory budget allocation; understand coding, billing, and reimbursement for HCP-administered product.
- Operate in full compliance with company policies and applicable law; complete required training.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 7+ years biotech/pharmaceutical sales success; 5+ years account/territory management.
- Oncology or Rare Disease/Orphan Drug experience with HCP-administered products preferred.
- Experience with product launches/launch strategies.
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS required).
- Field-based; 75%+ travel; candidates must live in territory (Illinois and most of Wisconsin) and near a major airport.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to fly/drive within assigned geography.
Benefits (US): Standard company benefits (medical, dental, vision, time off, 401k) and participation in annual incentive plans; base salary range $160,000β$214,000.
