Role Summary
Oncology Account Manager, Hematology, Indianapolis. Responsible for direct promotion of Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products and for developing and managing business relationships with therapeutic specialists within an assigned geographical territory. Implement marketing strategies and tactics to achieve sales goals through short-term and long-term objectives. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ adult oncology products to physicians and other health care providers in the designated area, at community and academic centers.
- Develop and manage relationships with therapeutic specialists within the territory to implement marketing strategies and tactics to achieve sales goals.
- Organize and facilitate meetings for the exchange of medical and product information in line with company policies, regulatory and legal requirements.
- Represent the company at live and virtual conferences, meetings, educational events, and training programs as needed.
- Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain territory records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, medical affairs, market access) to align and execute account strategies and objectives.
- Lead as the main point of contact for designated accounts and coordinate with cross-functional partners to provide a streamlined interface between account stakeholders and field colleagues.
Qualifications
- Required: Four-year college/university degree.
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation style in person and virtually.
- Required: Ability to meet territorial travel requirements.
- Preferred: Post-graduate business school study or training.
- Preferred: Minimum of 5 years in the oncology market.
- Preferred: Strong clinical, technical and scientific knowledge of products; experience with pediatric and young adult ALL and bone marrow transplant is highly preferred.
- Preferred: Strategic thinker capable of driving a strategic account business plan; strong key account management experience in complex academic and community accounts.
- Preferred: Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving, prioritization, analytics skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Preferred: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of driving sales growth; experience with pediatric and young adult ALL and bone marrow transplant highly preferred.
- Preferred: Key Account and Market dynamics knowledge.
Education
