Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with Oncology departments and practices (Oncologists, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Nurses, executives, department heads/managers, and support staff) to increase education on product benefits/risks consistent with the approved label, develop new business, improve resource utilization, and grow sales/market share by achieving sales plans for assigned Oncology products/indications.
- Partner with in-house and/or cross-franchise leaders to identify and adapt appropriate approaches within geography.
- Deliver effective on-label technical and scientific presentations using approved data to highlight benefits/risks and achieve sales quota.
- Serve as lead US Commercial contact for targeted accounts; collaborate with Brand/Strategic Marketing, GPO, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs, and contracted SPPs to provide customer support (including site support and issue resolution).
- Build, implement, communicate, and regularly update strategic/tactical business plans; facilitate site physician/treatment team training on approved/safe product use; monitor/report sales progress; provide routine communications.
- Act as key point of contact for each account; respond/direct inquiries and coordinate timely support.
- Attend and represent the company at local clinician boards/societies/HCP meetings; channel key information internally; ensure communications are on-label.
- Stay current on clinical, market, and payer developments in oncology.
- Complete required AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Identify and communicate important information/implications for AbbVie and customers; transfer knowledge internally and optimize tools/data/resources to identify opportunities.
- Establish and maintain knowledge of approved product label and disease state.
- With legal/OEC approval, participate in relevant local organizational programs.
- Meet healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).

Qualifications:
- Business savvy: analyze diverse data sets and define account/program strategies.
- Ability to meet complex customer needs with innovative, forward-thinking strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership; ability to lead without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Persistence/grit; proven success in challenging environments.
- Ability to drive a personal auto/company vehicle or powered material-handling equipment.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.

Preferred:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Oncology/Specialty/pharma experience.
- Account management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience (patients or healthcare consulting).
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
