Role: Medical Director, Clinical Development for Labcorp Oncology's MRD portfolio in solid tumors, leading evidence generation, product development, and clinical adoption of molecular diagnostics like ctDNA-based tests. Responsibilities: develop and execute clinical strategies across multiple tumor types; lead study design, conduct, and interpretation; guide product lifecycle management; collaborate with research, market access, and external stakeholders; support clinical utility, reimbursement, and guideline inclusion efforts; serve as scientific representative at congresses and advisory boards; lead and mentor a team of clinical development physicians; and coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams. Requirements: MD or DO, board-certified in Medical Oncology, 5+ years post-fellowship clinical experience with solid tumors, 3+ years in oncology clinical development or evidence generation, 8+ years designing and leading clinical studies, experience working with cross-functional teams, and proven scientific leadership with publications and presentations. Preferred: experience in molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, MRD, or biomarker-driven oncology development; prior industry experience; leadership in oncology diagnostics product launches; and extensive scientific engagement.
