Role: Medical Director leading clinical development for Labcorp Oncology's minimal residual disease (MRD) portfolio in solid tumors, focusing on evidence generation, product development, and clinical adoption of molecular diagnostics like ctDNA. Responsibilities: set strategic direction, design and oversee clinical studies to establish clinical validity and utility, support integration into clinical practice, and collaborate across R&D, medical affairs, market access, and external stakeholders. Also lead portfolio lifecycle management, scientific communication, investigator engagement, and medical team leadership. Requirements: MD or DO, Board-certified in Medical Oncology; 5+ years post-fellowship clinical experience with solid tumors; 3+ years in oncology clinical research or development; strong track record of evidence-generation initiatives and scientific publications. High-Value: focus on precision oncology, liquid biopsy, MRD and ctDNA technologies, across multiple solid tumor indications, with an emphasis on clinical validity, utility, reimbursement, and guideline inclusion. Work Setup: Monday–Friday, hybrid or onsite; travel up to 30% for conferences, investigator meetings, and collaborations.
