On Demand Services Engineer (Req #1434)

Role: On Demand Services Engineer providing Network, Security, and Systems support to client environments. Objectives: ensure system stability, availability, security, and functionality; troubleshoot and resolve network/system issues; support performance improvements. Responsibilities: perform support tasks for network and end-user systems, troubleshoot problems independently or within a team, manage tickets and projects, maintain technical skills and toolkit, escalate issues as needed, and ensure compliance with internal and client procedures. Qualifications: high school diploma required; 1-2 years of networking experience; 1-3 years of field and client-facing support; CCNA certification (upon hire or within 6 months); experience with Cisco, Nortel, 3Com, Microsoft NT, VMware, routing protocols (IP, OSPF, RIP), LAN/WAN concepts, and troubleshooting tools. Preferred skills include familiarity with protocols, hardware, and proprietary Cisco management software. High-Value: network infrastructure, support for enterprise clients, experience with Cisco and routing protocols, CCNA certification. Work setup: rotating shift, 24/7 support; salary range $24.04–$28.85/hr plus variable performance-based pay.
