Responsibilities:
- Develop study proposals using real-world data (RWD) to address key cross-functional business questions (e.g., evaluate disease severity using appropriate databases and collaborators).
- Lead end-to-end design, completion, and delivery of real-world evidence (RWE) (e.g., study safety/effectiveness to support regulatory decisions).
- Facilitate dissemination of RWE through presentations, publications, and/or trainings (e.g., develop promotional resources for external partners).
- Collaborate on integrated evidence generation plans for product teams, aligning study concepts/designs with partners’ strategies.
- Develop and implement innovative analytic methods (e.g., comparative effectiveness vs. appropriate comparator using CfOR data/analytics).
- Partner to enhance use of RWE (e.g., provide substitutes and/or complements to interventional studies to reduce time/cost).
- Build external partnerships to improve data quality and availability across patient populations and countries.
- Advance CfOR’s mission using innovative epidemiological methods and analytics for rapid decision-making.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate + 2 years related research/scientific experience OR Master’s + 6 years OR Bachelor’s + 8 years OR Associate’s + 10 years OR High school/GED + 12 years (data sciences/scientific experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in epidemiology/related field with strong observational research content.
- Oncology observational research study ideation, design, execution, and delivery experience.
- Excellent communication/presentation/interpersonal skills.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and in project planning/study management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical and/or public health settings.
- Experience with secondary data systems (e.g., claims, EHR, disease/drug registries).
