Operations
Position Overview
- Support PAR (parenteral) area startup: coordinate training, develop technical proficiency, lead operational readiness, and help build a diverse/inclusive culture.
- Lead PAR operations teams after turnover: develop inclusive culture and manufacturing technical expertise; ensure adequate staffing with trained/qualified employees; enforce safety and quality procedures. Direct supervision includes line leaders and operators.

Key Objectives / Deliverables
Integrity
- Lead with Safety first/Quality Always; encourage/execute โ€œStop Work Authorityโ€ for unsafe or product-impacting conditions.
- Maintain safe work environment and support HSE goals.
- Act as admin and technical leader; demonstrate procedure knowledge and quality-system compliance.

Excellence
- Collaborate with area supervisors for consistent communication and best-practice sharing across shifts.
- Execute shop-floor work to business plan, cGMP conformance, and operational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement; identify and implement ideas with business value.
- Ensure trained/compliant staffing; review/update training plans.
- Develop area documentation (procedures, work instructions, job aides).
- Originate/investigate deviations and quality issues; support root-cause and corrective actions.

Respect for People
- Build diverse, empowered team; manage multiple direct reports across manufacturing lines.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate operators; communicate cross-functionally on quality/equipment/operational concerns.

Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent); prior supervisory experience.
- Basic MS Office/desktop skills.
- Operations/manufacturing experience (pharma/food/clean-room or applicable).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication; strong organizational skills; technical aptitude to train/mentor.
- Valid driverโ€™s license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
- Ability to work overtime; wear safety equipment; gown in cleanroom (Grade C, ISO 8); 12-hour night shift (6pmโ€“6am on a 2-2-3 schedule).

Preferred
- 4+ years manufacturing/operations with 2+ years supervisory role.
- cGMP and FDA (or other) guidelines; STEM degree/certification.
- Aseptic filling/single-use assemblies/isolator technology; automated/semi-automated/manual inspection.
- Highly automated equipment; MES and SAP/other electronic systems.
- Continuous improvement (lean/six sigma); root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Compensation/Benefits (if eligible)
- Anticipated wage: $35.33โ€“$51.83.
