Role Summary

The Neuroscience Health & Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for increasing territory sales and building relationships with assigned customers by promoting Pfizer products and managing business strategy. The role requires strong customer, market, and business acumen, product and disease-state knowledge, and the ability to drive sales and strategic initiatives in-person and virtually. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work remotely, and effectively use digital tools to meet Pfizer objectives. Geography includes Monroeville and Pittsburgh West, PA; work is remote-field based.

Responsibilities

  • Drives sales in assigned territory.
  • Engages with customers both face to face and virtually.
  • Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact.
  • Builds rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments; uses digital tools effectively to sustain engagement.
  • Understands and leverages internal reports and analytics to identify and develop strategic business opportunities.
  • Educates providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions using approved disease-state information and patient resources, as applicable.
  • Demonstrates teamwork to collaborate across the organization and address customer inquiries while advancing Pfizer objectives.
  • Completes all administrative tasks on time and compliantly.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Professional sales or promotional activity; Small business owner or other entrepreneurial experience in marketing, customer service, and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT); educator (teacher, principal); or full-time military experience.
  • Required: Must live within 25 miles of the territory boundary.
  • Required: Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred: At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing.
  • Preferred: Track record of sales/marketing success, territory management, strong communications, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
  • Preferred: Experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
  • Preferred: Reside within the territory boundaries.
