Role Summary
Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the Gulf Coast District oversees sales leadership of a specialty CNS/psychiatry team, driving performance and engagement within the district.
Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Provide strategic direction and support to sales initiatives within the district; drive performance against targets.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
- Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
- Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
- Preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.

- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
- Excellent people management/supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives, and to lead and mentor the team.
- Dynamic; high-impact with effective selling and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Driverβs license and clean driving history; ability to operate a motor vehicle as required for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
