Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the Gulf Coast District oversees sales leadership of a specialty CNS/psychiatry team, driving performance and engagement within the district.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to sales initiatives within the district; drive performance against targets.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Excellent people management/supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives, and to lead and mentor the team.
  • Dynamic; high-impact with effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Driver’s license and clean driving history; ability to operate a motor vehicle as required for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
