Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the Gulf Coast District.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives in psychiatry/CNS within the Gulf Coast District.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach sales personnel; provide mentorship and performance management to drive above-average results.
  • Strategize and execute district sales plans to meet or exceed objectives; manage key accounts and relationships with healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on clinical/commercial initiatives.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to achieve district goals.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management experience; leadership experience preferred.
  • Preferred: CNS/psychiatry/sh Aries/ depression specialty experience; other specialty experience considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Required: Valid driver's license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; excellent analytical and business acumen; ability to build positive relationships.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to work in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory abilities; coaching and mentoring of specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical, patient-centric approach with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong selling/presentation skills; effective in dynamic, high-impact environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; quick situational assessment and roadblock navigation.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
