Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a district-level sales team focused on neuroscience/psychiatry products.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales representatives; coach and mentor the team.
  • Manage relationships with healthcare providers and facilities; ensure credentialing requirements are secured and maintained.
  • Strategize to achieve district goals and drive above-average results; monitor performance metrics and adjust as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize launch and ongoing support for products in the CNS/psychiatry space.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to cover the Cincinnati district and related accounts.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing teams; documented high-performance sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Required: Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to work in an innovative environment.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.

Skills

  • Clinical, patient-centric and tactical communication; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
  • Proven selling and presentation capabilities; effective at relationship-building with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Technical aptitude; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
