Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a district team of specialty sales representatives in neuroscience/psychiatry.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing sales talent; coach and mentor staff.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and customer facilities; ensure credentialing requirements are secured and maintained.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; translate clinical insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Travel up to 75% to cover the district and meet performance goals.
  • Maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; operate in small company/start-up contexts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or related areas.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and governmental entities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales and leadership performance; able to recruit and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical, business, and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
