Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
- Analyze the local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor resource allocation (budgets, time) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring/reporting (expenses and call reporting) in approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customer facilities.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience / Qualifications
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; otherwise may be considered for โ€œAssociateโ€ role.
- Preferred: atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience; specialty experience in psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management; reimbursement experience.
- Preferred: existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; clean driving history.
- Self-starter; goal/results driven (โ€œhunterโ€ mentality). Territory knowledge and relationships preferred.
- Ability to travel (including overnights); may require off-hours meetings.
- Must reside within territory geography.

- Navigate complex markets; strong organization; manage multiple priorities independently; adjust to roadblocks.

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle; occasional lifting/moving up to 15 lbs.
