Role Summary

Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) in Shreveport, LA responsible for delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services, executing and promoting products in alignment with sales strategy, and exceeding established goals.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and governments.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
  • Required: Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Preferred: Associate role considered for candidates not meeting work experience requirements.
  • Preferred: Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management.
  • Preferred: Reimbursement experience.
  • Preferred: Existing relationships (or those within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in the territory.
  • Required: Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Self-starter with goal- and results-driven mindset; proven track record of above-average results.
  • Preferred: Hunter mentality with strong territorial knowledge and relationships.
  • Required: Ability to travel (including overnight).
  • Required: Willingness for out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and meetings; some meetings may occur outside normal hours.
  • Required: Must reside within territory geography.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.

Additional Requirements
