Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring and reporting (expenses, call reporting) using approved systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet healthcare-provider/customer credentialing requirements; complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3+ years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may qualify for Associate if not met).
- Preferred: atypical anti-psychotic and/or orphan drug experience; specialty experience in psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management; reimbursement experience.
- Preferred relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers (existing or within 24 months).
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving history.
- Must reside within territory geography; ability to travel (including overnights) and meetings outside normal hours.

- Ability to operate motor vehicle as required; may occasionally lift/move up to 15 lbs.
