Role Summary
The Neuropsych Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires deep knowledge of account-based selling, strong relationship-building with total office teams, and collaboration across functions to support initiatives. The candidate will identify opportunities, tailor solutions, and manage territory resources to meet or exceed targets.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts (e.g., HCPs and office staff) at all levels, recognizing needs and taking appropriate action
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their needs and leveraging insights to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and allocate promotional funds
- Address external market challenges while fostering collaboration with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call activity with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers
- Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the geographical assignment
- Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals and complete administrative duties for the territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field
- At least 1 year of full-time, documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred
Skills
- Proven record of accomplishment in the target market toward meeting objectives
- Interpersonal skills including active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, and receptiveness to feedback
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with HCPs in person and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing (preferred)
- New product launch experience (preferred)
- Broad therapeutic area experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field
Additional Requirements
- Regular travel, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel
