Role Summary

The Neuropsych Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires deep account-based selling, the ability to build and maintain strong total office relationships, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support initiatives. The position emphasizes problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to develop tailored solutions for customers while aligning territory goals with organizational targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with regional team members and key external contacts at all levels, responding to their needs with appropriate actions
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs and drive sales targets
  • Regularly review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
  • Address external market challenges while fostering collaboration with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives
  • Maintain a call average defined in the sales plan with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers
  • Apply a range of traditional and nontraditional problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the territory
  • Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines
  • Achieve all sales performance goals, objectives, and complete administrative duties for the geographical assignment

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Required: At least 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical sales experience

Skills

  • Proven record of accomplishments toward meeting objectives
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, open communication, and receptiveness to feedback
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact with HCPs in face-to-face and virtual environments; proficient with technology
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing (preferred)
  • New product launch experience (preferred)
  • Broad therapeutic area experience (preferred)
  • Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: Regular travel, including air travel and potential weekend or overnight travel
