Essential Areas of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and external contacts (HCPs and entire office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to unique needs; drive product differentiation and achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve objectives
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with HCPs, focused on top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in assigned geography
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field)
- At least 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Proven accomplishments in the specific market
- Interpersonal skills (active listening, empathy, communication, inclusivity, openness to feedback)
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred
- New product launch experience preferred; broad therapeutic area experience preferred
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
