Neuropsych Sales Specialist responsibilities (defined territory):
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts (e.g., HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing to current and potential customers
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to customer needs; leverage industry insights to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges and partnering with internal teams on successful sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with healthcare providers focused on top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in assigned geography
- Adhere to all company compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties for the territory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field)
- At least 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred
Skills/Abilities (required/preferred):
- Proven accomplishments meeting objectives in the specific market
- Strong interpersonal skills (active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, openness to feedback)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing (preferred)
- New product launch experience (preferred)
- Broad therapeutic area experience (preferred)
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Travel: Regular travel, including possible weekend or overnight travel
