Role Summary

The Neuropsych Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires account-based selling, building and maintaining strong total office relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support initiatives. The candidate will identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions for customers, and exceed performance expectations while effectively managing territory resources and aligning with organizational targets. Location: Boston North, MA; regular travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with regional team members and key external contacts (i.e., HCP and entire office staff) at all levels, responding to their needs with appropriate actions
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs and leveraging industry insights to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets
  • Regularly review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
  • Address external market challenges while fostering a collaborative environment with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and insights to achieve shared objectives
  • Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers
  • Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in geographical assignment
  • Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines
  • Achieve all sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete all administrative duties for the geographical assignment

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; at least 1 year of full-time B2B sales experience
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Required: Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record

  • Proven record of accomplishments in the market toward meeting objectives
  • Strong interpersonal skills: active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, and openness to feedback
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact with HCPs in person and virtually; proficient with technology
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing (preferred)
  • New product launch experience (preferred)
  • Broad therapeutic area experience (preferred)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field
