Role Summary

Role: Neuropsych Regional Specialty Manager - Dallas, TX. Leads a regional sales team promoting treatments for serious neurological, endocrine, and psychiatric disorders. Recruits and develops a diverse, high-performing team to exceed regional sales goals, manages key projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. Provides strategic direction, field coaching, and access strategies to specialty pharmacy fulfillment while building strong internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Talent Management: Lead regional sales team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent; provide strategic direction and performance coaching; support onboarding of new team members.
  • Strategy & Execution: Drive regional implementation of sales strategies; develop targeted strategies for psychiatric and neurological markets; identify regional opportunities and remove barriers to success; foster innovative sales approaches and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decisions; hold team accountable for executing strategies; coach performance with field accounts; provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Business Operations: Manage regional budgets and expenses; ensure compliance with policies and guidelines; maintain open communication between field teams and headquarters.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals; engage with local professional and patient advocacy groups; coordinate with pharmacies and payers to optimize market access.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with marketing, training, sales operations, and other departments.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree and 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals, including 3+ years of first-line sales management experience. Demonstrated track record of building and leading teams.
  • Master's degree preferred and 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong sales disposition and business acumen; proven sales performance (quotas met/exceeded, rankings, awards).
  • Successful launch experience in complex, competitive environments; ability to manage change and operate with incomplete information; ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare regulatory environment; entrepreneurial mindset suitable for startup environments.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to challenge status quo and provide directional clarity in ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of functional discipline best practices; ability to improve tools and processes; developing internal reputation in area of expertise.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments; strong computer/technical skills; ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency; thrives in collaborative, performance-based, fast-paced environments; adaptable learner.
