About the Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory; represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.

Your Contributions
- Sales and Market Development: drive product acceptance and growth; execute territory sales strategies (in-person and virtual) to meet/exceed objectives; identify/address territory opportunities and barriers; manage promotional resources and budget.
- Customer Relationship Management: build/maintain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders and advocacy groups, community mental health clinics and long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: communicate with internal partners including managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications.
- Professional Standards: uphold ethical standards and FDA/pharmaceutical best practices; demonstrate integrity consistent with company values and compliance policies.
- Work Expectations: maintain full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events; other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience (including 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales). Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred. Psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- OR Master’s degree in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience.
- Knowledge of best practices; strong understanding of healthcare regulatory/enforcement environments.
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives and launch success in complex environments.

Preferred Skills/Tools
- Business systems and salesforce automation/business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva).
- Strong computer skills, project management, analytical thinking, verbal/written communication, and ability to navigate complex accounts.

Job-Specific Requirements
- Reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (frequent driving required).
