About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts and represents Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educates external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.

Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Sales and Market Development: Drives product acceptance/growth via targeted education and strategic account management; executes territory sales strategies in-person and virtually to meet/exceed objectives; identifies territory opportunities/barriers; manages promotional resources and budget.
- Customer Relationship Management: Builds/maintains relationships with healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
- Professional Standards: Upholds highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices; demonstrates integrity consistent with company compliance policies.
- Work Expectations: Maintains full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events; other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience (3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired); close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in science or related field AND 2+ years similar experience.
- Skills/Experience: Knowledge of best practices; strong healthcare regulatory understanding; proven success meeting/exceeding sales objectives and launches; improving tools/processes; leads/collaborates cross-functionally.
- Technical: Strong computer skills; proficiency with sales platforms/business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva).
- Communication/Attributes: Excellent verbal/written communication; strong account management; results-oriented with high ethics; adaptable; analytical/problem-solving; manages multiple deadlines.
- Job-specific: Reside within assigned territory geography; valid driver’s license and clean driving record (frequent driving).
