Role Summary

NeuroPsych Account Specialist responsible for promoting Neurocrine products within a specific geographic territory. Builds and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers, educates external stakeholders about product benefits, and represents Neurocrine brands and approved indications. Works with cross-functional partners to support sales objectives and ensure compliant, ethical engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Market Development
    • Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
    • Executes territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications
    • Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success
    • Effectively manages promotional resources and budget
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders including:
      • Healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs)
      • Clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs)
      • Key opinion leaders and advocacy groups
      • Community Mental Health Clinics and Long Term Care facilities
      • Local/regional payers and pharmacies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Establishes excellent communication with internal partners including managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams
  • Professional Standards
    • Upholds highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry best practices
    • Demonstrates integrity and models behaviors consistent with company values and compliance policies
  • Work Expectations
    • Maintains full field presence Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in science or related field AND Minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech or related experience, including 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, psychology, or neurology sales experience is highly desired. Close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience preferred. Psychiatry, neurology or antipsychotic experience preferred. Experience with business systems and sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, etc.) OR
  • Master's degree in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience
