Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - West District. Responsible for leading and developing a specialty sales team within a designated district, focusing on neurology/CNS products and related therapies, with travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Drive sales performance with a focus on clinical, patient-centric, and tactical selling approaches.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage district operations, including credentialing and compliance with industry standards.
  • Travel within the district and region as required, with up to 75% travel expected.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; effectively use data to inform strategy and execution.
  • Adapt to an innovative work environment and lead in a small company/start-up context when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management, or related areas; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
