Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - West District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in the neurology/CNS space.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach specialty sales representatives; drive coaching and mentorship across the district.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements.
  • Execute strategic sales plans to achieve district goals; demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Manage local, regional, and occasional overnight travel; operate in an innovative and evolving work environment.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product messaging and market access within the district.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Required: Analytical mindset and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Preferred: Experience in small company and start-up environments.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.

Education
