Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager – West District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/CNS space; recruit, retain, and develop top performers.
  • Drive sales performance with a strong focus on achieving above-average results and meeting district goals.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Display strong analytical and business acumen; provide strategic guidance and coaching to the sales team.
  • Navigate credentialing requirements for providers and facilities; ensure regulatory compliance within the district.
  • Maintain effectiveness in an innovative, evolving work environment and adapt to changes in the field.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to cover district responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 4 years in Sales Management (leadership) roles.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience is desirable.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; able to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, facilities, and government requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of high sales performance and leadership.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Experience in small company and start-up work environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Leadership and people management; coaching and development of specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical knowledge with patient-centric and tactical selling approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and adjust to roadblocks; self-motivated and independent decision-making.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
