Role Summary
Neurology District Sales Manager – West District
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/CNS space; recruit, retain, and develop top performers.
Drive sales performance with a strong focus on achieving above-average results and meeting district goals.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and internal stakeholders.
Display strong analytical and business acumen; provide strategic guidance and coaching to the sales team.
Navigate credentialing requirements for providers and facilities; ensure regulatory compliance within the district.
Maintain effectiveness in an innovative, evolving work environment and adapt to changes in the field.
Travel up to 75% as required to cover district responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 4 years in Sales Management (leadership) roles.
Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience is desirable.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; able to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.
Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, facilities, and government requirements.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
Demonstrated track record of high sales performance and leadership.
Must reside near a major airport within the district.
Experience in small company and start-up work environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
