Role Summary
Lead and manage the neurology district sales team in the West District, driving strategic execution, talent development, and performance outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Responsible for building strong customer relationships, ensuring compliance, and delivering district results through effective leadership and execution.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Lead and mentor district sales staff to achieve and exceed performance targets.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic oversight and execution for district sales activities within neurology/CNS focus areas.
- Travel within the district as required to manage field operations and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
- Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
- Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales teams; documented high sales and leadership performance.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record; able to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
- Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and business acumen; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must reside near a major airport within the district.
- Experience in small company and startup environments; flexible and adaptable in an innovative work setting.
