Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager – West District. Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in neurology/CNS, driving clinical and commercial results within the district. Travel up to 75% and reside near a major airport within the district.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Lead with strong analytical and business acumen to drive sales performance and district objectives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
  • Prepare, mentor, and coach team members; model effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Operate within an innovative work environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing specialty sales team; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Required: Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and governments.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Required: Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks; strong organizational skills.
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: Experience in small company and startup environments.
