Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team within the Southeast District for neurology productos.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop top talent; monitor performance and provide coaching to achieve goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure regulatory and credentialing requirements are met.
  • Utilize clinical knowledge to drive patient-centric and technically sound sales strategies; analyze market dynamics and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Travel locally, regionally, and up to 75% as required; reside near a major airport within the district.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management experience (preferred).
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS/neurology/pain management; experience selling in the MS market is desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales representatives; strong track record of sales and leadership performance.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license with acceptable driving record; ability to operate a motor vehicle for local/regional travel and occasional overnight travel.
  • Required: Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; solid analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Ability to adapt in an innovative work environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Excellent people management and coaching abilities; capable of leading and mentoring a specialty sales team.
  • Clinical acumen with patient-centric focus; effective communication (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, independence, and sound decision-making.
  • Dynamic and influential selling and presentation skills; strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
