Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Southeast District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of specialty sales representatives focused on CNS, neurology, and related areas.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach high-performing sales personnel; build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and customer facilities.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen to drive sales performance and district results.
  • Operate in an innovative work environment with flexibility and adaptability; manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Travel up to 75% as required for local, regional, and occasional overnight engagements.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and facilities; comply with state/local government requirements.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build positive relationships.
  • Required: Readiness to reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
  • Preferred: Experience working in small company and start-up environments.

  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of sound decision-making.
  • Dynamic, high-impact selling and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside near major airport within the district.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time.
