Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Northeast District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/ neuroscience/ CNS space.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing sales personnel; coach and mentor the team to achieve above-average results.
  • Develop and execute district sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned geographic region.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and state/local governments to secure credentialing and appropriate access.
  • Analyze market and performance data to inform business decisions and adapt to changing conditions.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Required: Ability to work effectively in an innovative work environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership and people management; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical acumen with patient-centric and tactical selling approach; strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and read situations quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
