Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Mid-Atlantic District. Oversee and drive sales performance within the district, emphasizing neurology-focused products and specialty sales leadership. Lead a team of specialty sales representatives, build client relationships, and ensure achievement of regional targets.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Achieve sales targets and drive growth within the neurology/CNS portfolio.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure credentialing requirements for providers and facilities are met.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen to inform strategy and decisions.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to cover districts and meet customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing teams; proven sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
  • Required: Ability to maintain effectiveness in an innovative, startup-like environment.
  • Required: Residency near major airport within the district.

  • Highly clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and independent decision-making.

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside near major airport within the district.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements.
