Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Mid-Atlantic District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/CNS space.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach high-performing sales professionals; drive performance and accountability.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, innovative environment; adapt to changing conditions and travel up to 75% as required.
  • Utilize strong analytical and business acumen to guide sales strategy and achieve above-average results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams; demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; experience selling in the MS market desirable.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing specialty sales team.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Required: Reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Travel up to 75%.

  • Clinical orientation with patient-centric and tactical selling approach; strong presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated; able to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Effective selling and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Technical aptitude; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
