Role Summary

Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager is a field sales role within the neuroscience portfolio. The role aims to exceed established goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services, reporting to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager. The position requires clinical knowledge, strategic selling, and the ability to build relationships within defined territories.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and governments.
  • Complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Required: Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving history.
  • Required: Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Required: Fortitude to sell and compete with a hunter mentality.
  • Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.
  • Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights).
  • Required: Possible out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings.
  • Required: Ability to work hours that may extend beyond normal working hours.
  • Required: Residence within territory geography.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
