Role Summary
Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager in San Francisco, CA, focusing on delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and aims to exceed established goals within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales strategy and product promotion activities.
- Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease area, competitors, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
- Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements, including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities as a condition of employment.
- Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Required: BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
- Required: Valid driverβs license and a clean driving history.
- Required: Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
- Required: Fortitude to sell, competitive drive, and hunter mentality.
- Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.
- Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights); some travel to HQs for training and meetings.
- Required: Residence within the territory geography.
