Role Summary
Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager responsible for exceeding sales goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services in the assigned territory. Reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and collaborates with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy, product promotion, and resource allocation. Maintains product/market knowledge, builds advocacy channels, and ensures access and reimbursement within institutional systems.
Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
- Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use within the territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitors, and market reimbursement.
- Determine and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
- Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
- Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and state/local governments.
- Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Required: BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
- Required: Valid driverβs license and a clean driving history.
- Required: Self-starter; goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
- Required: Fortitude to sell, competitive drive, and hunter mentality.
- Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.
- Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights).
- Required: Willingness to travel out-of-territory for HQs, training, and meetings.
- Required: Ability to work outside normal hours when needed.
- Required: Must reside within the territory geography.
