Role Summary

Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager responsible for executing the sales strategy in the assigned territory, delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services, and exceeding established goals. Reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and works to maximize product use, maintain current knowledge of disease and market dynamics, and secure access and reimbursement where needed. Requires collaboration with district leadership, travel within territory, and adherence to all laws, regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Required: Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving history.
  • Required: Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Required: Fortitude to sell and compete with a hunter mentality.
  • Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.
  • Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights).
  • Required: Out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
  • Required: Work hours may include meetings outside of normal working hours.
  • Must reside within territory geography.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0
