Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and implementation of key sales enablers, in collaboration with internal and external partners:
- Customer targeting and sales territory/region/area alignment
- Local market plan development at the territory level
- Establish strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, and epilepsy centers within the local market
- Identify and establish relationships with emerging thought leaders and customers; engage HCPs with appropriate time and resources
- Foster an entrepreneurial spirit with ownership and accountability; maintain open and honest communication with peers and senior leadership
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of product, customer base (HCP and patients), business strategy, competitive environment; stay abreast of key market access issues/trends
- Maintain exceptional knowledge of disease state, product, rare/orphan drug market, epilepsy market, competitive products, and broader healthcare marketplace
- Collaborate with cross-functional field leaders (e.g., Market Access, Patient Services) to achieve shared business objectives compliantly
- Analyze and leverage data (sales analytics, CRM reports, business statistics, customer feedback) to develop strategic business plans
- Manage promotional and T&E budgets in accordance with compliance policies
- Conduct business in accordance with regulations, company policy/procedure, and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited University or College
- Minimum 5 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience
- Successful biotech/pharma product launch experience with documented track record of exceeding goals
- Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience required
- Individual contributor with demonstrated account management skills
- Demonstrated business acumen; sustained performance exceeding territory goals
- Experience calling on interdisciplinary care teams and private practice settings
- Strong analytical skills to integrate data into strategic planning
- Account Management experience preferred
- High learning agility and scientific acumen
- Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functionally with diverse audiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM)
Travel
- Ability to travel up to 40%; some evenings/weekends for regional/national meetings, conferences, and advocacy support events
