Role Summary
Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager responsible for exceeding established goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services. Reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and works within the assigned territory to promote products in line with sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
- Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
- Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities as needed.
- Support additional ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
- BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
- Valid driverβs license and a clean driving history.
- Self-starter with goal- and results-driven mindset and proven track record of above-average results.
- Fortitude to sell in a competitive environment with a hunter mentality.
- Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
- Ability to travel (may include overnights).
- Out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
- Work hours may include meetings outside of normal business hours.
- Must reside within territory geography.
